We highly recommend the café “Our Chow” for the perfect seasonal lunch. Located in the heart of the oldest vineyard in Mudgee, Burrundulla Estate their menu includes gourmet light lunches, tasty & healthy kids dishes, a full cocktail & beer menu along with a selection of Mudgee wines. All topped off with mouthwatering cakes and desert options. Our Chow also supplies a terrific variety of outdoor games for the kids.

791 Estate’s seasonal light lunch menu includes grazing platters, cheese, soups, bruschetta, olives and breads. Seated in the cellar door or outside amongst the vines.
Moothi Estate is said to be one of the best place to watch the sunset. So we recommend a late lunch here. Their menu includes grazing platters and a rotating menu between tacos, burgers or sliders.
Di Lusso Estate presents mouthwatering authentic Italian style wood fire pizza and a game of bocci.
Lowe wines has a unique idea of “build your own grazing platter” or gourmet picnic basket, which can be pre-ordered online. Choose to sit indoors, outdoors, in the farm, by the lake or surrounded by vines.
Gilbert wines offers a selection of grazing boards and small sharing plates. Located on the edge of town and next door to the must visit High Valley Cheese co. for cheese tasting.
Lunch places in Mudgee town
Of course Mudgee is filled with great country pubs all offering our favourite counter meals. Choose from The Oriental Hotel with a point of difference being their curries, whilst The Lawson Park Hotel specialty is steaks, Kelly’s Irish pub offers large portion sizes and the Paragon Hotel is known for their chicken schnitzel.
Mudgee Cafes in town ….
Mudgee’s cafe & coffee culture is thriving. Our recommendation for lunch include the “Dancing Goat Cafe”, “The Butcher’s Shop Café”, “89 on Market” and “the quick brown Fox”. “Alby & Esther’s” is a local gem, hidden away in an alley-way sheltered by overhead grape vines.
Mudgee lunch options with a unique flare ….
The Warakirri cafe prides itself on an exploration of native cuisine and bush foods immersed in culture, whilst The Mudgee Brewery creates an experience of beer and pizza. Cade Kitchen & Bar is great place for brunch. We highly recommend the breakfast pizza – Delish (PICTURED HERE). How about authentic Chinese yum cha and tea at 29 Nine 99 , located in the main street of Rylstone, offers more than 30 types of dumplings, steamed buns and deserts.
